For an easy taco filling, start here:

  1. Brown 1 lb of your favorite protein or vegetables in a skillet over medium heat. Drain if desired.
  2. Add one pouch of Mild Taco Seasoning and ¾ cup water. Stir well over medium heat.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.

Try beef, turkey, plant-based protein, chopped portobello mushrooms or diced cauliflower. For vegetables, sauté with a little olive oil.

Beyond taco night, try it in fajitas, rice or roasted vegetables. Use a little at a time and season to taste.

We use dried, ground dates from California’s Coachella Valley instead of refined sugar. They bring body, depth and a little natural sweetness, balancing the spices without taking over.

Keep unopened pouches in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and stove heat. If you use only part of a pouch, close it securely or transfer the remaining dry seasoning to a clean, airtight container. Follow the best-before information on the pouch.

    This mild taco seasoning packet set has all the goodness of taco flavoring, smoky, salt, lime, etc. but there is not a hint of spiciness in it. It is perfect for kids who have no or low heat tolerance. It does lack a certain depth of flavor because of the lack of heat but it is still very enjoyable. My kids like it and I just add hot sauce to mine. It’s easy to mix up, just add water and stir. I added it to 1lb of ground beef. I love that it’s gluten free as well.

    This is a new brand to me and I was excited to try the organic ingredients in the product with the promise of "mild" seasoning. The seasoning is mild and yet familiar.   • Very good taco seasoning

    This taco seasoning mixes contain smoked paprika, ground dares, sea salt, cumin, onion, brown rice flour, garlic, rice concentrate, black pepper, turmeric and citric acid. You just mix it in to your ground meat when cooking.
    To try this, we added half a packet of this mild taco seasoning to 3/4 pounds of ground beef. We wanted to stretch the seasoning some because it’s a bit pricey. We also added some chopped fresh green pepper and onions. It was very very good, some of the best taco meat that we’ve ever had. We’d order it again.
