DO I ADD DESERT DUST BEFORE OR AFTER COOKING?

You can do both. Season before or during cooking, then taste and add a little more at the table. Start lightly with Spicy and build the heat to suit your food.

DO I NEED TO ADD SALT AS WELL?

Original, Savory and Spicy all contain sea salt. Taste before adding extra salt, especially if you are also using salty sauces.

WHAT DO THE DATES ADD TO THE FLAVOR?

Ground Coachella Valley dates bring light natural sweetness and round out the spices. Original is smoky and earthy, Savory brings cumin and garlic depth, and Spicy adds Chiltepin and cayenne heat.

ARE THESE THE SAME AS THE TACO SEASONING PACKETS?

They are different blends. Original, Savory and Spicy are all-purpose seasonings you sprinkle to taste. Mild Taco and Spicy Taco pouches have their own recipes and skillet directions for taco filling.
