Grinder: handmade cactus-shaped grinder with owl topper. Edible items: whole Chiltepin peppers and The Original Desert Dust seasoning.

Ingredients:

Chiltepin Pepper: Chiltepin peppers

The Original Desert Dust: Organic Ground Dates, Sea Salt, Spices (including mustard), Paprika, Granulated Garlic, Granulated Onion, Citric Acid and Rice Concentrate (anti-caking)

Season with The Original before or during cooking. Put a few whole Chiltepin peppers into the grinder, insert the topper and grind, then sprinkle over the finished dish for extra heat.

Wipe the grinder clean and keep it dry. Do not submerge.

Yes. Our whole Chiltepin peppers are also available separately in a 0.3 oz jar.

Keep the jar tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use dry utensils and keep moisture out of the jar. Follow any storage and best-before information on the label.

A road trip to Sonora introduced us to Chiltepin peppers and the small grinders used at the table. These gift sets bring that discovery to your kitchen. Read our Sonora story.
