Baked Salmon with Savory Desert Dust

DINNER

Baked Salmon with Savory Desert Dust

Savory Desert Dust gives salmon an aromatic coating without a long ingredient list. Bake, check the center and let it rest before serving.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces salmon, wild or farm-raised
  • Savory Desert Dust, for a generous coating
  • Olive oil, for an optional light drizzle

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Portion the salmon into 6-ounce pieces and coat generously with Savory Desert Dust.
  3. Add a light drizzle of olive oil if desired.
  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes. Check the center with a food thermometer: fish should reach 145°F / 63°C. Continue cooking if needed.
  5. Remove from the oven, rest for 2 minutes and serve.

Keep in mind

  • The olive oil is optional in the original recipe.
  • Allow a 2-minute rest after baking. Check doneness rather than relying on time alone.
